Fluconazole USP ……200mg

Administration way: Oral
DESCRIPTION: FLUCONAZOL CAPSULES contains as active principle fluconazole, a powerful antifungal that belongs to a new pharmacological group called triazole agents.
INDICATIONS :
1. Acute or recurrent vaginal candidiasis.
2. Dermatomycosis, including Tinea pedis, Tinea corporis, Tinea cruris, Pityriasis versicolor, and candida infections.
3. Onychomycosis.
4. Prevention and treatment of systemic fungal infections in
immunocompromised patients (AIDS, patients receiving cytotoxic drugs or steroids).
5. Mucosal candidosis (oropharyngeal, esophageal, bronchopulmonary
noninvasive and chronic oral atrophic candidosis).
DOSAGE:
Vaginal candidiasis;
1 capsule 200mg of FLUCONAZOL single dose.
-Dermatomycosis (ringworm of the feet, body, inguinal etc.):
1 capsule every week until lesions disappear.
-Onicomycosis:
1 capsule every week for 2-12 months.
-Prevention and treatment of onychomycosis in immunocompromised patients:
1 capsule each day, as long as the doctor stipulates.) Or according to average prescription.
CONTRAINDICATIONS: Hypersensitivity to the drug
PRECAUTIONS: The use of FLUCONAZOLE in pregnancy is under the responsibility of the doctor, weighing benefits over risks; however, there are no reports of teratogenicity.
SIDE EFFECTS: Only gastrointestinal (less than 4%), such as nausea, vomiting and constipation.
