INDICATION
Indicated for the treatment of all single or multiple intestinal parasites of any etiology, such as: amebiasis (cysts and trophozoites), giardiasis, ascariasis, enterobiasis, uncinariais, helminthiasis and taeniasis (solitary). Symptomatic or asymptomatic trichomoniasis.
Product Information:
Nitazoxanide – 500 mg.
DOSE
Children over 12 years of age and adults: amebiasis (cysts and trophozoites), giardiasis, helminthiasis or trichomoniasis: 1 tablet of 500 mg every 12 hours for 3 consecutive days. Fasciolasis: 1 tablet of 500 mg. 2 times a day for 7 consecutive days.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Hypersensitivity to any component. Pregnancy and lactation During treatment this product can stain urine and other secretions with an intense yellow color, this effect is transitory and harmless. If you notice a yellowing of the eyes while continuing treatment, consult your doctor.
ADVERSE REACTIONS
Vomiting, dry mouth, tremors, fever, myalgias, hematological alterations.
